Frankie is the face of Global Hydropower Day, providing facts and information on hydropower for the public. Focused on the #WithHydropower campaign key themes/statements.​

Frankie is a robotic friend formed out of various elements that make up a hydropower facility including the Francis Turbine and he has a hydrostatic head inspired by the Kaplan Turbine. ​

He will act as an engaging, supportive character who can translate complicated information about hydropower into interesting facts.​
