This session will showcase the latest innovations in small hydropower (SHP) technology, emphasising their contributions to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Discussions will highlight advancements in digital tools, hybrid energy solutions, smart grid technologies, and SHP’s potential role in low-emission hydrogen production. The event aims to explore how SHP innovations can enhance scalability, improve efficiency, and reduce costs, driving progress toward SDG 7 (clean energy), SDG 13 (climate action), and SDG 8 (economic growth).
