International Beirut Energy Forum
The International Beirut Energy Forum 2015 is specifically dedicated to sustainable energy issues and projects, and attracts key energy people from Lebanon, the Arab World, and the international community.
Historically, the Beirut Energy Forum is organised under the patronage of the Lebanese minister of energy and water. The event receives the support and participation of a large number of key players in the energy sector.
The main supporters of the event are the League of Arab States (LAS), the European Union (EU), the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),the ESCWA, the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), the Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI), and the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut (OEA).
The forum is organized by MCE GROUP for Congresses and Exhibition (MCE Group) in collaboration with "EnR, salon des Energies Renouvelables", the Ashrae Lebanon Chapter, the Lebanese Solar Energy Society, the Lebanon Green Building Council (LGBC), and the EU-funded project MED-ENEC. The Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) is the strategic partner of the event.
Adopted by the World Energy Council (WEC) as its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional event, during the three days international and continental experts will gather to share insights, challenges, and solutions to the MENA's energy sector, with special focus on potential regional projects.
