The International Conference on Fishfriendly Hydropower is a two-day event taking place on 17-18 March 2021 that will present the results of the FIThydro (Fishfriendly Innovative Technologies for Hydropower) research project.

FIThydro is an EU-funded H2020 research project which focuses on environmental impact assessments and the development of cost-effective environmental mitigation measures and strategies to support self-sustainable fish populations.

Hydropower Specialist at the International Hydropower Association María Ubierna will deliver a keynote on ‘Sustainable Hydropower today and future outlook’ on the conference’s first day.
