Polish Hydropower Conference HYDROFORUM 2019
The annual Polish Hydropower Conference (HYDROFORUM) is organised by the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery (IMP PAN), the Polish Hydropower Association and the Polish Association for Hydropower Development.
The conference provides a platform for discussion on challenges encountered by the hydropower sector in Poland and the region in view of legal and administrative developments, hydropower potential, available technology and environmental requirements.
The programme provides an opportunity for the exchange of opinions and information on observed trends and prospects for the sector, as well as the development and operation of hydropower installations, new solutions to technical problems and the results of research and development (R&D).
The event is aimed at representatives of the hydropower sector, academic institutions, central and local authorities, and NGOs.
The venue is Polanczyk, a resort located at Solina Lake, inthe foothills of Bieszczady mountain range in south-eastern Poland. A technical visit to the Solina Dam and Hydropower Plant (200 MW) is envisaged.
