This workshop, organised by the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Hydropower Association, aims to foster knowledge and encourage exchanges between stakeholders in the energy and water sectors to develop more concrete good international industry practice for hydropower development in Myanmar.

It builds on a series of previous events organised by IHA and IFC collaboratively and separately, and addresses the important contribution that hydropower makes to regional cooperation and development.

Highlights of the workshop will be presented in other global and regional forums, including at the 2015 World Hydropower Congress in Beijing, China.

Participation is limited to 75 participants. Please register early to secure a seat for your participation. IHA and IFC encourage all interested participants to join, and the deadline for registration is 5 January 2015.
