ANDRITZ announced as first partner of the 2023 World Hydropower Congress
ANDRITZ, a global supplier of electromechanical systems and services for hydropower plants and a world leader in hydraulic power generation is the first partner to be announced for the 2023 World Hydropower Congress.
The Congress taking place between 31 October – 2 November, will bring together global leaders in the sector and beyond to help supercharge the growth of sustainable hydropower, under the theme ‘Powering sustainable growth’.
ANDRITZ, a long-standing member of the Congress’ secretariat, the International Hydropower Association (IHA), works to create long-living, environmentally friendly and economically efficient solutions for hydraulic power generation, with a focus on maintaining the natural environment, humankind and technology in perfect harmony.
With over 180 years of experience in turbine design, ANDRITZ is well suited as a partner of the Congress, with over 31,900 of its turbines for hydropower plants (more than 471,000 MW) installed globally.
