Hidroelectrica, the Romanian state-owned power generation company, is continuing with the sale of small hydropower plants. In order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives, the small hydropower plants sales process is proceeding with a new phase.

Twenty small hydropower plants, grouped in 14 corporate stocks of assets, will be transferred through public auctions either to the private sector or to local communities in Romania. Together, the assets to be sold represent around 17 MW of installed capacity.
