Representatives of IHA corporate members EDF and K-Water have been re-elected to the World Water Council Board of Governors, at the council’s 7th General Assembly on 12–14 November.

The newly elected representatives will serve on the Board of Governors for a term of three years. EDF’s Governor will be Mr Ursat Xavier, while K-Water’s will be Mr Choi Gweyoon.

The role of the Board of Governors is to oversee the implementation of decisions of the General Assembly and all matters related to governance, general management, program of activities, budgeting, accountancy and membership of the World Water Council.

In total 35 governors representing 5 colleges of members were elected for the 2016–18 period. You can see the full list here
