Hafslund Eco
Headquartered in Oslo and owned by the City of Oslo and Eidsiva Energia, Hafslund Eco has ensured Norway has access to clean, renewable energy for 130 years. The company has roots among the pioneers in hydropower and continues to build on this heritage to further develop a fleet of power plants that provide energy and balancing services to the Norwegian electricity system. On average, the company generates 21 TWh of hydropower annually from 81 power plants in southern Norway with the installed capacity being approximately 5300 MW. Hafslund Eco is part of the Hafslund group, an energy and infrastructure group with activities in hydropower, wind power, offshore wind power, solar energy and district heating.
