Hydro Energy is part of the energy and aluminium company Hydro, founded in 1905. We build on more than a century of experience in power production, operations, trading and consumption.

We are operators of 40 hydropower plants in Norway, with a combined output of 13.7 TWh renewable electricity in a normal year, close to 10 percent of the hydropower production in Norway. We are also a large power market player in the Nordics and Brazil, including being one of the largest buyers of corporate power purchase agreements in Europe.
