Edo Ronaldo joined IHA’s regional team in September 2024 as a Data Acquisition Officer. In this role, he sources information on existing projects and projects under development, ensuring data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks. He also collaborates with regional teams to provide evidence-driven policy insights. He is a secondee from IHA member ANDRITZ.

Edo has eight years of experience in the power sector and currently provides active support in ANDRITZ's development for the Asia and Oceania regions. During his career, he has received numerous trainings on topics such as Contract Review – FIDIC Based, on-the-job training in Austria, manufacturing facilities in India, reliability-centered maintenance in Malaysia, and is a certified user of the Hydropower Sustainability Standard.

As a Mechanical Engineer, Edo has experience ranging from project development to project implementation of hydropower projects in Indonesia. He has been involved in global coordination on O&M and digitalisation initiatives within ANDRITZ. Promoting the pumped storage hydro solution for integration with intermittent solar and wind will be his focus toward achieving the net-zero target.
